Through venture, growth equity, and buy-out capital injections the Sypnios team has invested in more than 100 operating companies over the past 35 years. We have also collectively started and scaled 100’s of businesses as Founders, C-Suite, and Board members. The Sypnios team has executed Leadership-focused consulting across more than 1,500 clients, as well.

Tim has extensive experience in leadership development and scaling businesses across a broad spectrum of industries. His expertise in management consulting is highlighted by roles such as Partner-in-Charge at Grant Thornton, Managing Director at The Hackett Group where he led their Answerthink business unit, and SVP Hitachi Consulting where he was a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. As an entrepreneur, he acquired his first multi-million-dollar business at 24 and has since founded several startups including MyBizWorld, iHs, BBE Group, and Luminosity Capital. As a Venture Partner, he coaches CEOs on development and business growth. Tim holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Colgate University, following his education at Pine Crest Preparatory School.

Andrew (Andy) has a distinguished career leading major businesses globally, including roles at Abbott, DKSH, and Baxter. With over 17 years of experience living in five different countries, he’s managed companies with revenues over $2B, contributing significantly to the Humira team at Abbott and spearheading commercial transformations at DKSH and Baxter. His leadership skills encompass digital transformations, R&D, company integrations, and global marketing. An active investor and advisor in the LMM space, Andy is dedicated to helping leaders grow their businesses. He holds an honors degree in Psychobiology from USC and an MBA from UCLA.

Dr. Emmanuel Bellon has been investing in the development of leaders for the last 35 years. He currently serves as Vice President of the Executive Network at Scholar Leaders International. Previously he has served as president of a university during which time he led a consortium of five universities. Dr. Bellon has led strategy formulation for sustainability for over 50 institutions of higher learning in 28 countries in Latin America, the Middle East, Eastern and Central Europe, Africa, and Asia. Dr. Bellon earned his bachelor’s in BSc, Business Administration, and Management (Hons.) from Daystar University, a Master of Divinity from International Leadership University, a Master’s in Intercultural Studies, and a Ph.D. in Intercultural Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary.  

Dan Boyce is the President of Luminosity Capital, LLC, specializing in commercial real estate investments in southwest Florida. He is also a leading sales producer for the region’s largest Real Estate Brokerage. Dan has held executive roles (CEO, CIO, CMO) in various organizations including Anixter, Berlin Packaging, and Grant Thornton. His expertise spans buying and selling companies, launching new ventures, and consulting for business leaders and non-profits. He holds a marketing degree from the University of Florida and a degree in Cultural Hermeneutics & Theology from Trinity International University.

Danny Johnson has a unique blend of ministry and business experience. Serving Pastor Rick Warren at Saddleback Church put Danny at the intersection of ministry leaders, corporate executives, and government officials coming together to accomplish shared visions. Danny went on to serve as the Chief of Staff of Cappital, a lower-middle market custom software development company, and currently serves as VP of Operations at Luminosity Capital, LLC. Danny earned his bachelors degree in Business Administration and Management from Trinity International University.

Dr. Morgan is the Founder and President of People Prosper International (PPI) – an organization working across the globe to eradicate poverty through economic empowerment. He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership with a research focus on Human Capability and Organizational Structure using Requisite Organization theory. His work is unleashing human capability to create extraordinary value to transform culture. 

Jon Mrowiec boasts over 35 years in finance, with expertise in options trading, asset/risk management, and financial planning. His career includes being a derivatives trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and managing money for families, working at Morgan Stanley and smaller investment firms. Besides finance, Jon served as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force and Michigan Air National Guard for ten years. He is a dedicated learner, holding a bachelor’s in marketing from Millikin University, master’s degrees in Finance and Accounting from Northern Illinois University and University of Illinois – UC respectively, an MBA from University of Illinois – UC, and a CPA license.

Miles has rigorous accounting and finance experience across a diverse set of industries and companies, developed through is work as a financial auditor for Deloitte. At his last role inside Deloitte, he served FinTech and SaaS clients as part of the Blockchain & Digital Asset Group, where he provided audit and consulting services to start-ups as well as public companies in the nascent blockchain and digital asset industry. Miles now works as a Teaching Fellow for Harvard Business School, in the Accounting and Management unit. Miles earned bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Computer Science from the College of the Ozarks with high honors and is a licensed CPA. Miles resides in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and enjoys running, skiing, and generally any other activity that takes him outside to enjoy beautiful New England.

Before joining Sypnios Growth Capital, Lee was CEO of Nextscreen, LLC, a media company in the automotive and audio sectors, where he tripled readership and doubled net earnings, including launching a successful YouTube channel. Previously, as an Associate Partner at McKinsey Analytics, Lee served numerous clients and won the Marvin Award for problem-solving in 2015. He also founded two analytics firms applying machine learning to banking and insurance risk management. Lee holds an honors degree in Finance and Management Information Systems from the University of Virginia.

Ray Kingsbury, with over 35 years in finance and operations for middle market companies, joined Ancor Capital in 1998. He has extensive experience in private equity, commercial banking, and real estate. Ray is the Chairman of the Board for PMA Photometals and LSC Environmental Services, and has held CEO, President, Chairman, or board roles in over 15 companies across various industries. He graduated summa cum laude with concentrations in Marketing and Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, ranking number one in the School of Business.

Adam Wells has operational experience with over 100 venture-backed vertical market software and private equity-backed services & technology companies across more than a dozen industries. Previously, Adam was an Executive Director at Golden Section, an early-stage Venture Capital firm, and served as CEO of Golden Section Technology. Before then, he also founded and led companies in the Architecture and Real Estate Development sectors. Adam advises the Born Global Community, judges at the Rice University Business Plan Competition, volunteers with CareerSpring, and founded the nonprofit How Much More. He studied Linguistics and Business at Texas A&M University as well as Biblical Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary.
